Dr. Abdullah Alhifany is Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at Umm Al-Qura University College of Pharmacy
Dr. Alhifany earned his PharmD from MCPHS University, Massachusetts, USA
He did his General Clinical Residency training in Columbus Regional Health in the State of Georgia and his Fellowship training in Ambulatory Care from the University of Arizona
He has a total of 6 research grants proposal accepted from the Deanship of Scientific Research at Umm Al-Qura University and KACST
And he contributed to 28 publications in ISI indexed journals and wrote multiple educational articles to Saudi Newspapers (Sabq and Medinah)
Dr. Abdulaziz Alqahtani is an Ambulatory care Pharmacy specialist. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Science in 2017. After graduation, he joined the residency program postgraduate (PGY1) at King Saud University Medical City. in 2019 he was granted the Saudi Board Degree in General Clinical Pharmacy (ASHP Accredited) then he persuaded the specialized Saudi Pharmacy Residency Program in Ambulatory Care.
Dr.Alqahtani has presented research posters and several talks in national and international events. His current research focuses on clinical service management, Clinical Outcomes, comparative effectiveness research and health education.
Furthermore, he’s interested in participating in primary care services that are led by clinical pharmacists including but not limit to Diabetes mellitus, Anticoagulation, Medication therapy management, and Geriatric clinics.
During his professional career, he has been involved in several of hospital pharmacy committees at King Khalid hospital and a member of American Society of Health System Pharmacists as well as the Saudi pharmacy society. Moreover, he was elected to be chief resident of pharmacy programs at Saudi commission for health sciences
