Dr. Omaima Arab, Pharm.D, BCMTMS, BCPS, BCACP

Dr. Omaima Arab earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science from King Saud University, KSA. After graduation, she worked at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre. Then she accepted a scholarship to the States where she has earned Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from MCPHS University, MA. Then completed postdoctoral training in General Clinical Pharmacy Residency at Columbus Regional Health, followed by Ambulatory Care Residency at Piedmont Columbus Regional, GA. She is triple American board certified; specialist in pharmacotherapy, medication therapy management and ambulatory care pharmacy. She has led the MoH-SSCP Immunization Delivery Certification during COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, she was selected to lead the MoH-SSCP Medication Therapy Management Certification. She served as a board member of the ambulatory care pharmacy specialty network of the Saudi Society of Clinical Pharmacy during PSN’s foundation year. Currently she works as an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre. She advocates for ambulatory care pharmacy specialty and pharmacy based clinics. Dr. Arab participated in several events as a speaker and facilitator in addition to conducting research.

Dr. Abdulaziz Alqahtani is an Ambulatory care Pharmacy specialist. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Science in 2017. After graduation, he joined the residency program postgraduate (PGY1) at King Saud University Medical City. in 2019 he was granted the Saudi Board Degree in General Clinical Pharmacy (ASHP Accredited) then he persuaded the specialized Saudi Pharmacy Residency Program in Ambulatory Care.

Dr.Alqahtani has presented research posters and several talks in national and international events. His current research focuses on clinical service management, Clinical Outcomes, comparative effectiveness research and health education.

Furthermore, he’s interested in participating in primary care services that are led by clinical pharmacists including but not limit to Diabetes mellitus, Anticoagulation, Medication therapy management, and Geriatric clinics.

During his professional career, he has been involved in several of hospital pharmacy committees at King Khalid hospital and a member of American Society of Health System Pharmacists as well as the Saudi pharmacy society. Moreover, he was elected to be chief resident of pharmacy programs at Saudi commission for health sciences
